Ambassador visits German landscape architect

The German Ambassador recently visited the German landscape architect Dorothea Burger in Ballymun (Co. Dublin). Mrs Burger is currently the Senior Executive landscape architect with Ballymun Regeneration Ltd. (BRL) and is managing the external works for the past 10 years, such also includes the development of the neighbourhood parks like Coultry Park and Balcurris Park and distric park like Poppintree Park in Ballymun. They are all located in Ballymun and offer, along with football pitches and basketball courts, many climbing apparatus and a range of various playgrounds for different age groups. The concept seeks the combination of equipment and landscape which conveys the outdoor activities of children and their exploration of wildlife and nature. Coultry Park has also been named among the six best parks in Ireland by the Irish Times.
