Certificates of life can be certified by all Irish authorities, among them pension providers, notaries, banks, hospitals, and the Red Cross (see certificate itself).

The Embassy can, if necessary, certify any documentation intended for German pension-paying institutions free of charge during opening times. However, certificates of life are only issued during opening times in exceptional cases. Please note that longer waiting periods may occur. You need to bring your passport and a fee of 20 Euro in case your pension-paying institution is a private one.
