Visit to St. Philomena's Primary School in Bray
The German Ambassador H.E. Busso von Alvensleben visited St. Philomena's Primary School as part of the Bray Lions Club's 'Windows on the World' Project on 10 February 2011. The day took place in attendance of Emer Breen (Principal St. Philomena's), Linda Phelan (5th class teacher), David Grant (Chairperson Bray Town Council), Christine Flood (Bray Town Clerk), John Mc Evoy (Deputy President Bray Lions Club), Peter Doyle (Bray Lions Club), Norman Heagney (Bray Lions Club), and Ann Quinlan (Chairperson of the Board of Managers).
The pupils of St. Philomena's will do some research about Germany in their local library and present a window display in the town centre of Bray shortly.
