20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall

After more than 28 years of German division, the Berlin Wall fell overnight from 9 – 10 November 1989, a historical event of global significance. Today, 20 years later, Germany, Europe and the whole world look back, in order to look forward. Thanks to the peaceful revolution and the Fall of the Wall, not only were millions of people united: Germany was, too. And the balance between East and West was re-established.

In celebrating the 20th anniversary of the fall of Berlin Wall there are many events in Germany and Ireland.

As a service to our costumers we would like to give you the opportunity to already fill in and print your visa application form at your computer at home or at your office.

Your printed application form will be checked and scanned at the Embassy. As our visa officers do not have to fill in your details manually the length of your stay at the counter will be shorter, which saves you and the Embassy time.
